Models
indicate that smoke will lay into the LA Basin overnight and during the morning
hours similar to this morning. By the mid-afternoon, the major of smoke is
forecast to travel eastward over the San Gabriel Mountains and into the Inland
Empire as seen in the image below.
In general, smoke concentrations in the LA Basin have been averaging in
the "moderate" air quality level.
