Air Quality Report                                                                                               Issue Date: 09/16/2015

Rough Fire                                                                               Prepared by:  Tod Johnson and Jen Croft
Forecast conditions represent impacts from smoke from the Rough Fire wildfire.  Contributions from ozone and other pollutants are not reflected.
Fire:  Cool and damp conditions have reduced interior burning and hampered burn out operations along the western perimeter.  Current IR is showing interior islands are consuming through creeping and smoldering fire behavior,  increasing fire size to 140,760 acres, 2,107acres over the acres  reported September 15.
Air Quality Today:  Smoke impacts will be limited to the areas directly adjacent to the fire area during the day due to continued cloud cover, light rain showers and high humidity. Some smoke will settle into the Owens Valley.
Air Quality Tomorrow:  Some increase in smoke conditions are forecast for the modeled area, as drying trend returns with continued impacts to the Owens Valley.
