From the NWS Reno's Facebook page.
The Ferguson Fire west of Yosemite National Park is responsible for the smoke in the Sierra and Western Nevada early this afternoon. The smoke can be seen from GOES 16 imagery stretching from near Yosemite north and east through Reno to Lovelock and Winnemucca. With the fire still burning actively this afternoon, more smoke is expected by Tuesday morning. If you are sensitive to smoke, stay indoors as air quality will remain moderate to unhealthy for sensitive groups.
