Saturday, June 18, 2016 Monitor now live in Santa Ynez to measure smoke from the #SherpaFire

A portable PM2.5 smoke monitor has been deployed to Santa Ynez to measure smoke concentrations from the Sherpa Fire.  The public can view hourly concentrations at EPA's AirNow webpage under the Fires:Current Conditions page.  See an example below from: http://tinyurl.com/zafywqt
At this time (6am PST), our blog has not updated to show this new monitor, but all nearby permanent stations are working.  Please check our Mapping-Webcams-Air Quality tab later for data from the temporary monitor.
