Above is last night's infrared (IR) map from the San Gabriel Complex fires. Fire growth has slowed compared to earlier in the week, however pockets of detected heat indicate that the fire is still active and smoke production is still occurring. The model indicates that the fire's smoke plume will impact the Inland Empire today in moderate concentrations. Air quality should improve as containment of the fire increases. This site is a voluntary effort by public agencies to coordinate and aggregate information for California communities affected by smoke.
