Wednesday, September 23, 2015 Rough Fire Smoke Summary

Below are the monitoring summaries for the past 3 days.  Burning operations are complete with the exception of minor applications in mop-up.  We don’t expect any fire behavior that would produce significant smoke columns and resulting transport.   We are seeing steady improvement even in the local areas of Hume Lake, Cedar Grove, and Grant Grove.  Smoke from interior burning will continue to produce a general haze in the areas in and adjacent to the Kings Canyon as hot dry conditions continue.
