Thursday, August 20, 2015 - Afternoon smoke over most of California north of Sacramento

Around 5 P.M., white, quite possibly pyrocumulus cloud, shows up on the visible satellite over the Rough fire, indicating active fire behavior and likely more smoke in Kings Canyon tonight.
