Tuesday July 15, 2014 - No Smoke from Nicolls Fire

Leftover clouds from a subtropical flow rotating through Arizona and into California are the only features visible from this morning's satellite image.  Minimal smoke is being produced from the Nicolls Fire which was 80% contained as of this morning.  No further air quality impacts are expected from this incident, although lightning strikes from thunderstorms over the Sierras have the potential to ignite new fire starts.
