Corral, Orleans, Salmon Complexes: Smoke
continues to impact northern counties and Karuk tribal lands, although impacts
lessened somewhat over the weekend. New smoke monitors were deployed by USFS on
Saturday in Orleans and Willow Creek. All agencies are watching the Corral fire
closely for potential growth. The threat of lightning strike fires will

American Fire: ARB is monitoring smoke on
behalf of Sierra, Placer, and El Dorado counties. The highest impacts have been
in Foresthill, where average readings were in the Hazardous range for several
hours at a time. In response, Placer County Public Health and the air district

as has the Northern Sierra AQMD (http://www.myairdistrict.com/index.php/air-quality-advisory)
and the Feather River air district with Sutter County Public Health (http://www.fraqmd.org/).

Department and AQMD issued a joint health advisory for the smoke impacts in and
