Wednesday, July 29, 2015 - Smoke Summary for the Willow Fire Areas

Latest model runs indicate that localized impacts around the Willow fire will begin to improve beginning today through the end of the month, provided that emissions (smoke) from these fires does not increase. Impacts are largely west of the Sierra Crest, in the foothill areas. Darker blue colors indicate mostly haze; lighter blue to pink colors indicate areas most likely to see substantially elevated smoke at the surface.
