Latest model runs indicate that localized impacts around the Lowell and Willow fires will likely continue tonight and tomorrow, then generally begin to improve thereafter, provided that emissions from these fires don't increase. Impacts are largely west of the Sierra Crest, in the foothill areas, with some influence west of the Lowell fire in the Sacramento area, and more influence west of the Willow fire in Fresno area. Darker blue colors indicate mostly haze; lighter blue to pink colors indicate areas most likely to see substantially elevated smoke at the surface.
