Thursday, October 19, 2017 - Central California Smoke Graphic

What am I Seeing?
As a cold front begins to move in from the northwest, smoke from the Napa area fires has filled much of the Joaquin Valley and moved up into the foothill canyons and over some of the ridges into interior valleys.

Smoke from the Empire Fire in Yosemite can be seen moving east-northeast over Mono Lake, smoke from the Lion Fire is tough to make out but moving eastward over the Inyo National Forest.
