Friday, October 13, 2017 - Central California Smoke Graphic

What Am I Seeing?
The bulk of the smoke generated from the LNU Complex Fires continues to stream southward over the San Francisco Bay Area.  With the low sun angle, some of that smoke can be seen (hazy) hanging over the San Joaquin Valley.  Smoke from the Sierra fires is generally moving eastward, while a reduction in transport winds is resulting in the Lion Fire’s smoke to fan out somewhat.
