Sunday, August 14, 2016 - #ClaytonFire - Lake County - Info from the NWS
From the National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area/Monterey California's Facebook page
This image shows the plume from the Clayton Fire in Lake County. If you look closely, in red you’ll see the fire perimeters from last year’s Valley, Jerusalem and Rocky Fires. Right now the fire has burned into Lower Lake. Gusty southwest winds continue this evening as an upper trough passing over the region will keep an unstable airmass above the fire through sunset. A National Weather Service Incident Meteorologist will be enroute shortly.
