Thursday, September 10, 2015 - Air Quality in Yosemite NP and the Tenaya Fire

This morning, smoke from the Tenaya Fire was impacting the Yosemite valley, with hourly values (dots on the graph below) reaching the Very Unhealthy range, and continues to affect high country locations in the afternoons. Yosemite smoke monitoring (all sites) can be tracked here, and the Yosemite Valley monitor data is also displayed at:
  http://www.nps.gov/yose/learn/nature/aqmonitoring.htm

Late afternoons/early evenings are likely the best chance for good air quality until this weather pattern changes.
