Shasta-Trinity & Six Rivers Fire Complexes Mike Broughton and Greg Hosburg
Forecast conditions represent impacts from smoke. Contributions from ozone and other pollutants
are not reflected.
Smoke Synopsis: 0830 Morning Version
|
||||
This will be the final air quality product for
the Shasta-Trinity/Six Rivers complexes.
Very little
smoke impacts through Sunday! Fire activity at all locations is termed
“minimal with creeping and smoldering.”
The River Complex continues to burn, primarily in Devil’s Canyon, though
fire activity was low yesterday. Smoke generated by the fires will affect
only local areas, with some transport possible into the northern portion of
the Sacramento Valley and the Trinity Lake area today.
Holiday Weekend
Outlook: Good air
quality is expected in most locations through Sunday. Rain showers are
possible overnight tonight, mostly in the north. Northerly winds Saturday into next week
will bring warmer, drier conditions over the fire complexes, possibly increasing
smoke production, primarily from unburned areas within the fire perimeters.
