Smoke can be seen from both the Cabin and Rough fires early this morning, as well as in the Upper Kern River Valley extending south from the Cabin Fire. High level cirrus clouds are approaching from the southwest.
By 11:30 this morning, the cirrus clouds had moved over a good part of central California, moderating some of the fire behavior and blocking our view from the satellite.
