Shasta-Trinity & Six Rivers Fire Complexes Mike Broughton and Greg Hosburg
Forecast conditions represent impacts from smoke. Contributions from ozone and other pollutants
are not reflected.
Smoke Synopsis: 0930 Morning version
|
||||
Rain arrived early this morning over most of the
fires, although those to the south received much less than up in Del Norte
County, which as expected received over an inch in some locations. The rain and wind cleared smoke out of most
of the surrounding areas, with the big question now being, how much will the
fires put up today? Regardless, the
whole of NW California will experience good dispersion today and
tomorrow. Depending on which fires become
active following the moist and breezy conditions this morning and afternoon,
some locations may experience smoky conditions for a short time.
Sunday, light smoke can be expected to move into
the broad valleys of north-central California, although no poor air quality
levels are anticipated.
