Monday August 31, 2015 - Shasta-Trinity/Six Rivers NF Complexes Morning Smoke/Air Quality Report

Monday August 31, 2015
Shasta-Trinity & Six Rivers Fire Complexes                                 Mike Broughton and Greg Hosburg

Forecast conditions represent impacts from smoke.  Contributions from ozone and other pollutants are not reflected.
Smoke Synopsis:    1000 Morning Version
The fires are producing less smoke than in previous days. Stable conditions today will lead to less clearing, increasing concentrations in the deeper valleys, which should clear in the afternoon. The remaining areas will also see clearing in the afternoon.

An approaching trough will bring less stability and help clear things up even more over the next couple of days.
