Thursday, September 11, 2014 - Meadow Fire Smoke Impacts will persist through the weekend, despite limited growth

Though the fire is running out of vegetation patches to burn and new growth is somewhat limited, smoke impacts remain significant in the Yosemite Valley (Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups, or USG), and moderate up and down-canyon from the fire.  Details in today's Smoke Impact Summary (SIS), and a monitoring map, overlaid over this afternoon's MODIS satellite imagery.
