From the US National Weather Service –
Sacramento’s Facebook Page.
“Do you smell smoke or see a smoke
plume? North to Northeast winds will continue into Tuesday morning and become
locally breezy. The North to Northeast winds are spreading smoke from the
wildfires around Northern California as seen in the visible satellite image
from this afternoon. The smoke plumes from the radars are also detected as
echoes on the WSR-88D radar image. The smoke from the wildfires will continue
to bring smoky conditions…even to portions of the Central Valley with the
downslope winds into Tuesday morning. The smoke and subsidence from high
pressure over the area will also continue the poor air quality into Tuesday
morning.”
