Wednesday, August 12, 2015 - GOES Visible Image of Northern California Wildfire Smoke

Higher temps and winds, in general, and lower relative humidities resulted in increased fire activity that lofted smoke columns clearly visible from the GOES satellite this afternoon.  Smoke from the Jerusalem Fire crossed the Shasta County line around 4pm.
